Alexander Aheimer

IVD Assay Development Scientist at Foresight Diagnostics

Alexander Aheimer has worked in various roles since 2012. Alexander began as a Social Psychology Research Assistant at Texas Tech University in 2012, and then became a Student at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2013. In 2014, they took on the role of Medical Technologist at MD Anderson Cancer Center - Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory, where they were the lead sequencing technologist for a high volume, personalized cancer therapy clinical trial that utilized NGS platforms. In 2019, they moved to Invitae as an Oncology IVD Assay Development Scientist, where they designed, executed, analyzed, and reported NGS IVD studies focused on using liquid biopsy inputs (ctDNA). Alexander also designed and executed development studies aimed at improving assay performance and operation workflows. Currently, Alexander Aheimer is an IVD Assay Development Scientist at Foresight Diagnostics Inc., a role they have held since 2023.

Alexander Aheimer attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center from 2013 to 2014, where they earned a Master's degree in Molecular Pathology.
