Deborah Smith

Deborah Smith has extensive experience in healthcare informatics and consulting, currently serving as a Clinical Informatics Specialist at Methodist Health System since March 2019. Previously, Deborah worked as an Application Support Specialist and Director at Forest Park Medical Center, and as a Senior Consultant at HSA Consulting, where responsibilities included hospital auditing, compliance with HIPAA and JCAHO, and Meditech system integration. Deborah also held the position of Director of Case Management and Compliance at HCA, focusing on case management and government billing compliance. Deborah's professional journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Business from The Ohio State University, obtained between 1978 and 1981.
