Sophie T.

Sophie T.'s work experience includes various roles in different organizations.

Sophie is currently working at Forest School as a Head of House and a Teacher of Academic Music.

Prior to that, they worked at The Rodolfus Foundation as a Trustee, where they worked on the board of a Music Education charity and was responsible for pastoral and outreach activities. Sophie also served as the Head of Pastoral, Choir Manager, and Assistant Choir Lead, where they created and maintained pastoral processes for residential music courses, provided support for students on Choral Courses, and led consort groups for performances.

Sophie has also worked as a Freelance Soprano, singing solo and in choirs for various events, and as a Teacher of Music at St Bede's School, where they taught Music to different year levels and also taught Citizenship.

Sophie has also had experience as a Trainee Music Teacher at the University of Cambridge, and as a Hotel & Villa Partnerships Executive and Member and Partnerships Support at Mr & Mrs Smith.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Hotel Operations Associate at Travelzoo, where they coordinated hotel setups and managed clients from Europe, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates. Sophie also worked as an Administration Assistant at Freshwater, an Administrator/PA/Office Manager at a Masonic Charity, and as a Dual Store Colleague at Sainsbury's.

Sophie T. has a comprehensive education history spanning multiple years and institutions. Sophie began their education journey at Shirley High School from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained their GCSEs. Following this, they attended Coloma Convent Girls' School from 2008 to 2010, completing their High School education with a focus on A Levels.

Sophie T. then pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Music at the University of Nottingham from 2010 to 2013, earning a BA (Hons) in Music. Continuing their studies, they enrolled at the University of Cambridge from 2019 to 2020 and completed a PGCE degree in Music (Secondary) with QTS, which stands for Qualified Teacher Status.

With a desire to further their expertise in education, Sophie T. returned to the University of Cambridge from 2021 to 2024, pursuing a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Transforming Practice - Music Education.

In addition to their formal education, Sophie T. has obtained several certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Sophie completed the QTS certification through the Department for Education in September 2020. Sophie T. also holds certifications in Mental Health First Aid (Level 2) from Nuco Training Ltd in July 2021, First Aid at Work (Level 3) from St John Ambulance in August 2022, and Adolescent Mental Health from CPD Online College in August 2023.
