Jan Fiala

Jan Fiala is an experienced system engineer, currently working as an Application Engineering at Foretellix. Prior to joining Foretellix, Jan worked as a system engineer at Valeo, where they were responsible for Park4U - the most advanced autonomous parking system on the market.

During their time at Valeo, Jan was responsible for in vehicle test execution, analyzing and evaluating test data, and reporting problems to developers. Before Valeo, Jan worked as a Junior researcher at Centrum výzkumu Řež s.r.o., where they were responsible for numerical simulation of cooling system of HELCZA experiment.

Jan has a wealth of experience in the automotive industry and is an expert in autonomous parking systems. Jan is a highly skilled engineer with a passion for problem solving.

Jan Fiala is a self-driving car engineer who graduated with honors from the Czech Technical University in Prague with a degree in physics and technology of thermonuclear fusion. Jan also has a certification from the Czech Society for Quality in ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level, as well as Udacity in Intro to Machine Learning, Daimler AG in T1 driving certificate, and Udacity in Artificial Intelligence for Robotics. Additionally, they are certified by the Goethe-Institut e.V. in Zertificat Deutsch and Daimler AG in T2 driving certificate.

Their manager is Yoav Hollander, Founder & CTO. Jan Fiala works with Yaron Lavi - Senior Computer Vision Engineer, Jerry Jakobsson - Application Engineering.
