Don Kaiser has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Don is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Forge Nano, Inc. since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Aptiv from April 2021 to September 2022 in their Program Management department. From 2010 to 2022, they worked as a Consultant, Executive Level at Various Projects.
In terms of their previous roles, Don Kaiser held the position of Executive Director, NA & EU Operations at A123 Systems from 2019 to 2020. Don was responsible for overseeing operations, quality, and advanced manufacturing across Europe and North America. Before that, they served as the President of Dexter Axle Company from 2017 to 2019, where they led the business unit and managed multiple locations and departments.
From 2012 to 2017, they held several positions at A123 Systems, including COO China, VP Global Quality, VP Program Mgt, & New Capital Projects. In these roles, they managed operational and quality aspects of lithium-ion battery manufacturing for commercial, grid storage, and OEM automotive markets.
Don Kaiser also served as the CEO of Lean Alliance, Inc from 2010 to 2012, where they led a consulting business catering to the automotive and medical device industries. Earlier in their career, they held roles such as VP, Quality and Operational Excellence at Hayes Lemmerz International from 2002 to 2010, and Manager, Quality and Global Service Operations at Danaher Corporation - Fluke Electronics from 1999 to 2002.
Their first job was at Honeywell (Allied Signal) - Filters & Spark Plugs Division, where they served as the Division Champion and Master Black Belt from 1996 to 1999. Don Kaiser's experience includes managing high-volume manufacturing operations, quality control, program management, and consulting roles across various industries.
Don Kaiser holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, which they completed in 1994. In the year 2000, they obtained an Executive Management Certificate in Business and Electronics from Stanford University.
