Marvin Key

Marvin Key has an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Marvin is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ForgeNow, a skills-based curriculum and technical training company. Prior to that, they held the same role at TRACOM before it rebranded as ForgeNow.

Before their leadership role at ForgeNow, Marvin served as the Interim Chief Executive Officer of Acacia Research Group LLC, the world's leading independent patent-licensing company. Marvin oversaw strategic planning and operations for the public company. Marvin then became the Chief Executive Officer of Acacia Research Group, a wholly owned patent-licensing subsidiary of Acacia Research Corporation. As the CEO, Marvin managed business operations and identified corporate strategic plans for sustainable growth.

Earlier in their career, Marvin worked as a Senior Vice President at Acacia Research Group and as a Principal at Thomas Weisel Partners. Marvin also served as a Portfolio Manager at Hermes Advisors and as a Vice President at Salomon Brothers.

Marvin Key obtained their MBA in Finance, General from the Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business between 1982 and 1983. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Clemson University from 1979 to 1982, earning a BS in Financial Management.
