Andrew Busey has a diverse and successful work experience in various roles and industries. Andrew is currently the Co-founder and Co-CEO of Form Bio, a company focused on empowering scientific discovery through a platform and machine learning models. Prior to this, they co-founded Colossal Biosciences and served as the Chief Product Officer, leading the spinout of Form Bio from Colossal.
Before their involvement in the biotechnology industry, Andrew co-founded Hypergiant, where they served as a partner. Andrew also co-founded Capital Factory, a seed stage mentoring program for startups, where they were a partner and mentor. Additionally, they worked as a mentor and investor at TechStars, a geographically distributed accelerator for early-stage startups.
Earlier in their career, Andrew co-founded Supply Drop and served as the CEO. Andrew also founded Conversable, a conversational intelligence platform, where they held the positions of Founder, Chairman, and Chief Product Officer. Conversable was later acquired by Liveperson. Andrew's experience in the gaming industry includes roles as a Special Advisor at Zynga and CEO and Founder of Team Chaos LLC, which was acquired by Zynga.
In addition to their entrepreneurial ventures, Andrew has served as an Executive Board Member in the Game Development Program at The University of Texas at Austin. Andrew has an impressive track record of building successful companies and making an impact in the technology and biotechnology sectors.
Andrew Busey completed their education with an MBA degree from The Wharton School, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a BA degree in Computer Science from Duke University, where they studied between 1989 and 1993. In 2017, they also earned a certification in Machine Learning from Stanford University through Coursera Course Certificates.
