Sarah Tan

Sarah Tan is the Founder and Venture Architect at Formatif, a venture design studio specializing in early-stage AI, Web3, and B2B tech SaaS startups since April 2024. With a strong focus on human-centered AI, Sarah writes for Medium and shares insights from over two years of research. As a Community Builder for Asia Startup Network, Sarah fosters Southeast Asia's largest startup and venture capital community and has led marketing and design initiatives for various projects including Makan For Hope. Previous roles include Product Design Lead at Code & State, Product Designer at Nansen, and Brand Strategy Consultant at Traceable AI, with a proven track record in driving design strategy and enhancing brand presence across multiple organizations. Educational background includes a B.A. in Industrial Design from the National University of Singapore, with additional studies in Silicon Valley and at Stanford University.
