Michael Wu has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and consultancy. Michael started their career as an intern at Basic Point IT Consultants, where they designed and implemented a database and created a web server application. Later, they worked as a software engineer at Easton Utilities, where they developed and designed complex SQL Server Reporting Services and deployed business portals for multiple clients. Michael then joined Booz Allen Hamilton, initially as a Senior Consultant and later as a Lead Engineer. In this role, they led a team in building and deploying an asset tracking application used by over 150,000 IRS employees. Michael also coordinated efforts to migrate SharePoint environments, automated processes using PowerShell and JavaScript, and built dashboards for upper management. Currently, they are a Full Stack Engineering Fellow at Formation.
Michael Wu attended Wicomico High School from 2002 to 2006, where they completed their degree in General Studies. Following this, they enrolled at Salisbury University from 2006 to 2010, pursuing a degree in Information Systems with a focus on Information Technology.
