Rain Rues has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.
They began their career at Fayetteville Underground Art Gallery in 2014 as a Guest Curator. In 2016, Rain joined Able Talks as a Creative Assistant, where they collaborated with autistic adults to empower them in their creative endeavors and provided technical assistance.
In 2017, Rain co-founded Prism Takeover and served as a Board Member and Cofounder until 2019. During the same period, they also worked as a Team Leader at Sunbunker LLC, where they displayed strong leadership skills.
Rain further expanded their skills by working as an Assistant Accountant at Brasher Rental from 2009 to 2017. In 2019, they took on the role of Software Engineer Apprentice at App Academy, followed by a role as a Software Engineer at Stake from 2019 to 2020.
Continuing their professional development, Rain joined the Formation as a Full Stack Engineering Fellow in 2021. They also took up a position as a Board Member at Omni Center in the same year. Rain's most recent role is as a Freelance Contractor in the field of Frontend Web Development.
Rain Rues attended Vassar College from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Comparative Religion, Africana Studies, Social Justice, and Studio Art. In 2016, they enrolled at the University of Arkansas and completed their studies in Computer Engineering in 2018. In 2019, Rain attended App Academy to pursue Full Stack Web Development, but it does not specify whether they obtained a degree.
