Wenwei Xu began their work experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2004. Wenwei then moved on to the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they served as a Graduate Research Assistant from 2009 to 2013, conducting research on biomarkers for ovarian cancer and the mechanical properties of polymeric films. In 2014, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Ohio State University. Since 2015, Wenwei has been employed at FormFactor Inc., first as a Principal Product Development Engineer and currently as a Senior Principal Product Development Engineer.
Wenwei Xu completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Tongji University from 2000 to 2004. From 2004 to 2007, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Wenwei then attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they obtained a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from 2009 to 2013. Lastly, from 2016 to 2019, Wenwei Xu completed a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
