Marie Hemsley

Marie Hemsley has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Marie currently holds positions at both Formic Ventures and Formic Labs as an Operations & Administrative Manager, where they oversee special projects. In 2016, they co-founded Palette, a catering business that later evolved into a fine dining restaurant and art gallery. Within Palette, they served as the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief of Staff, handling administrative, marketing, and operational responsibilities. Marie is also the President and Founder of Palette Culinary and Fine Arts Foundation, a role they have held since 2019. Prior to these ventures, they worked as an Office Manager and Program Manager at the French American Chamber of Commerce San Francisco and as a Parliamentary Assistant with Senator Yves KRATTINGER at Sénat. Marie also gained experience as a Public Affairs Assistant at FFSA and as a Legal Assistant conducting research at CNRS - Délégation d'Ile de France Sud. Additionally, Marie completed internships at the Court of Justice of the European Union and OECD - OCDE, where they developed skills in legal and linguistic matters.

Marie Hemsley has a diverse education history that spans across several prestigious institutions. In 2003, they began their educational journey at ISIT, where they earned a Master's degree in English in 2008. In 2007, they furthered their studies at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, obtaining a Master's degree in European Law. Continuing their pursuit of knowledge, Marie attended EMLV - École de Management Léonard de Vinci in 2009, earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) in European Affairs Management. Simultaneously, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in International Business at London South Bank University, completing their degree in 2010.

Recently, Marie has engaged in online education, demonstrating their commitment to professional development. In 2021, they completed the Harvard Business School Online CORe program, focusing on Business Analytics, Economics for Managers, and Financial Accounting. Additionally, in 2022 and 2023, they participated in various programs, including the Certificate in Project Management at UC Berkeley Extension and the Business and Financial Modeling Specialization at Wharton Online. Through these educational experiences, Marie has acquired a well-rounded foundation in project management, business modeling, and various aspects of business analytics.
