Ryan Roemer

Ryan Roemer is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in software engineering and management. At Nearform Commerce from July 2013 to February 2024, Ryan served as GM of Composable & Commerce Solutions and previously held the roles of Chief Executive Officer and Technology Advisor at Formidable. Key responsibilities included providing senior architectural guidance, managing AWS cloud infrastructures, and advising on open-source software licensing. Prior to Nearform, Ryan held positions at Curiosity Media as Director of Engineering for a leading Spanish learning site, senior engineering roles at IP Street and Microsoft, and internships at Google and Intuit. Ryan's academic credentials include a Master’s in Computer Science from UC San Diego, a JD from UCLA School of Law, and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Stanford University. Additionally, Ryan has experience in intellectual property litigation as a Patent Attorney at Morrison & Foerster LLP.
