Andy Hurtado

Andy Hurtado is an accomplished sound editor with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as Lead Sound Editor at Formosa Group since May 2021. Prior to this role, Andy worked at Technicolor as Lead Sound Editor from November 2018 to May 2021 and operated as a Sound Effects Editor and Engineer at Mercury Sound Studios from August 2010 to July 2017. In addition to freelance work as a Sound Effects Editor since January 2010, Andy held earlier positions in customer care and sales assistance at Ceiva Logic and Katz Media Group respectively. Andy's foundational experience includes various production assistant roles in the industry, starting in 2005. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Cinema Television Arts from California State University, Northridge, alongside training at Video Symphony and Moorpark College.
