James Fox has been working in the engineering industry since 2014. James began their career at Delta-Q Technologies as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist, where they worked with a multidisciplinary engineering team to design and develop the IC900, IC1200, ICL and RC series products and accessories. James then joined VodaSafe Inc. as an Engineering Intern in 2019, where they collaborated in the development and design of proprietary manufacturing tools to improve part yield and reliability for the AquaEye Handheld Sonar Scanner. James also designed and assembled mechanical fixtures and jigs for improving assembly manufacturability and increase future scalability, as well as manufactured electrical and mechanical assemblies for product testing and production. In 2021, they began working at FORM as a Mechanical Designer.
James Fox attended The University of British Columbia from 2018 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to that, they attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2014, where they earned a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology/Technician.
