Steven Johns

Steven Johns has worked in the product design industry since 2003. Steven began their career at Precidio Inc. as a Product Designer, before moving to Philips Ledalite in 2006 in a similar role. In 2012, they joined Pebble Tech as an Industrial Designer and Product Design Engineer. In 2017, they became a Senior Product Design Manager at Istuary Innovation Group, where they worked on a small team designing high speed server equipment utilizing PCIe switching fabric with ARM server nodes. Steven's responsibility included mechanical, UX and Industrial Design of the equipment, as well as architecting storage array concepts with the goal of maximizing density in a 2U chassis. Later in 2017, they were promoted to Director of Product Design and Manufacturing at FORM.

Steven Johns graduated from Carleton University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Industrial Design (BID). Steven also holds a Lighting Certified (LC) certification from the NCQLP.
