Brent May

Chief Medical Officer at Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix

Brent May is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in anaesthesia and sports medicine. Currently serving as a Medical Advisor for Supercars and Chief Medical Officer for both the Formula 1 Vietnam Grand Prix and the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix, Brent also holds positions as a Specialist Anaesthetist at Alfred Hospital and Director of the Definitive Surgical and Anaesthesia Trauma Course. With a rich background in motorsport medicine, Brent has contributed significantly as Chief Medical Officer for the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix and as an expert member of the FIM Medical Commission. Education includes a Master's Degree in Trauma Science from Queen Mary University of London and various qualifications in anaesthesia and ultrasound from the University of Melbourne.
