Mark Galea

Mark Galea is a skilled mechanical design engineer with extensive experience in the automotive and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Formula 1 since June 2021, Mark previously held roles including Mechanical Design Engineer and Development Engineer at Brunel Racing, where involvement in the design and structural analysis of CFRP wishbones for a Formula Student car was prominent. Mark's early career included an industrial placement at Formula 1, along with positions as a mechanic at Cycle Surgery and SCOOTER WORKS UK LIMITED, specializing in vintage scooter restoration. Mark Galea holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Brunel University of London, complemented by diverse educational experiences, including a BTEC National Diploma in Popular Music.
