Salvatore Avino

Salvatore Avino has a significant amount of experience in the quality control field. Salvatore currently holds the position of Head of Site Quality at Formulated Solutions since 2023. Prior to this, Salvatore worked at Noven Pharmaceuticals, where they held various roles. Salvatore started as a Scientist in December 2012 and was responsible for finished product and stability testing. Salvatore then worked their way up to Supervisor, Manager, Senior Manager, and eventually became the Director of Quality Control. In these roles, they oversaw laboratory operations, represented QC during audits, implemented process improvements, and increased testing capacity. Before their time at Noven Pharmaceuticals, Salvatore worked at West-Ward Pharmaceuticals, where they held roles such as Analytical Quality Control Chemist and Laboratory Administration Supervisor/Manager. Overall, Salvatore Avino has a strong background in quality control and has held leadership positions throughout their career.

Salvatore Avino earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemistry from The College of New Jersey in 2006. Salvatore then went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2010.
