Riz Asghar has a diverse range of work experience. In their current role as Team Lead (EU Business Development) - Liquid Handling at FORMULATRIX, they are responsible for achieving a target of $5.5M for the European territory. Riz leads a team of 3 product specialists and 2 business development specialists. Riz consistently exceeded targets, achieving 130% above target in Q2 2021 and completing FYE 2021 at 226% of target.

In earlier roles, Riz served as an Operations Team Lead at Abacus, where they effectively managed team delivery and resolved escalated inquiries and complaints. Riz also worked as a Heating Installation Advisor at British Gas, an Assistant Manager at Select Services Partner, and a General Manager at Craft Cars Limited. Riz started their career as a Franchise Owner at Subway, where they took responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant and organized marketing activities.

Riz Asghar's education history includes a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Manchester, which was obtained from 2009 to 2012. Riz then pursued further education and completed an MSc degree in Advanced Chemical Engineering from The University of Manchester from 2017 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Riz has obtained a certification in "The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing" from Google in May 2022.
