Cheryl McKinnon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in enterprise content management and strategic marketing. Currently serving as a Principal Analyst at Forrester Research since February 2013, Cheryl focuses on ECM, document-centric collaboration, records management, information governance, content archiving, and eDiscovery. Prior to this role, Cheryl founded and presided over Candy Strategies Inc. from March 2010 to February 2013, providing education and advisory services on open standards, open source, and open data. Notable past positions include Vice-President of Marketing at AIIM, Chief Marketing Officer at Nuxeo, and various leadership roles at Open Text and Hummingbird. Cheryl's academic background includes a Master's degree in Canadian History from Carleton University and a Bachelor's degree from The University of Winnipeg.
