Ariana Ojeda Paredes is a PhD candidate at Forschungszentrum Jülich since September 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a process engineer at LyondellBasell, where development of dynamic simulations for propylene polymerization occurred, along with reviewing piping and instrumentation diagrams. Ariana also worked as a laboratory assistant on the Algae Biorefinery Project at Universitat Rovira i Virgili, focusing on sampling and development of protein, carbon, and lipid quantification tests. A part-time teaching role was held at ITI Instituto Tecnológico Internacional, managing subjects such as Applied Biology and Food Physicochemistry. Ariana's early career includes assisting in thermodynamics laboratory activities at Universidad Central del Ecuador and coordinating information management at OLADE. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universitat Rovira i Virgili and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Central del Ecuador.
