Pikesh Pal

Gneus Postdoctoral Researcher And EU Visiting Scientist at Research Center Julich

Pikesh Pal serves as a GNeuS Postdoctoral researcher and EU Visiting Scientist at Forschungszentrum Jülich since August 2022, focusing on emergent novel phases of quantum materials under extreme conditions as part of the European Union GNeuS project. Additionally, Pikesh holds a position as a GNeuS MSCA Cofund Fellow and continues as an EU Visiting Scientist at Forschungs-Neutronenquelle Heinz Maier-Leibnitz (FRM II). Prior to these roles, Pikesh was a Senior Research Fellow at the National Institute of Technology Rourkela from April 2016 to August 2022. Pikesh obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela in December 2021 and holds a degree from the University of Calcutta, completed from 2007 to 2011.
