Marsela Car's work experience begins in 2011 as a Teaching Assistant at FER, where they remained until 2016. In 2016, they also completed an internship at Ericsson. From 2016 to 2022, Marsela worked at FER, first as a Research Assistant in various projects, including SpECULARIA and ASSISIbf. Marsela then became a Leading Researcher and focused on projects involving AI systems for tumor detection and tracking, as well as AI and compliant solutions for indoor robotic agriculture. In 2019, Marsela worked as a Visiting Researcher at Bristol Robotics Laboratory, where they developed a CNN encoder for feature extraction in optical-based tactile sensing. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Forsight as a Computer Vision Software Engineer, where they are involved in R&D for computer vision, deep learning, and multi-object tracking.
