Marsela Car

Marsela Car's work experience begins in 2011 as a Teaching Assistant at FER, where they remained until 2016. In 2016, they also completed an internship at Ericsson. From 2016 to 2022, Marsela worked at FER, first as a Research Assistant in various projects, including SpECULARIA and ASSISIbf. Marsela then became a Leading Researcher and focused on projects involving AI systems for tumor detection and tracking, as well as AI and compliant solutions for indoor robotic agriculture. In 2019, Marsela worked as a Visiting Researcher at Bristol Robotics Laboratory, where they developed a CNN encoder for feature extraction in optical-based tactile sensing. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Forsight as a Computer Vision Software Engineer, where they are involved in R&D for computer vision, deep learning, and multi-object tracking.

Marsela Car's education history begins in 2011 when they enrolled at FER and pursued their Bachelor's degree. Marsela completed their undergraduate studies in 2014. In 2015, Marsela attended Chalmers University of Technology as part of an exchange program, focusing on Complex Adaptive Systems. After returning to FER, they decided to pursue a Master's degree from 2014 to 2016. Their field of study during this period is not specified. Marsela continued their academic journey by enrolling at Otvoreno učilište Algebra in 2019, where they studied Graphic Design for a year. In 2020, they attended Pučko otvoreno učilište Zagreb, focusing on Ceramic Design for a year. Finally, Marsela pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Robotics at FER from 2017 to 2022.
