Scott M. is an experienced law enforcement professional and dedicated volunteer, currently serving as a Responder for Texas Search and Rescue since May 2024. With a strong background in investigations, Scott worked as a Detective in the Homicide and Robbery Unit for the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office from April 2014 to August 2024, earning the distinction of Cold Case Coalition Detective of the Year in 2023. Prior to this, Scott served as a Corporal and Shift Patrol Supervisor at the Austin County Sheriff's Office, and also held positions as an Officer Candidate Instructor for DynCorp International and Lieutenant with the Wyoming Highway Patrol. Scott's military career includes serving as a Commander in the US Navy, specializing in Special Operations, and as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Educationally, Scott obtained a B.S. in Radiologic Technology from Midwestern State University.
