Thomas A. Tucker II

Thomas A. Tucker II is a dedicated youth educator and coach currently serving as a High School Social Studies Teacher and Athletic Coach at Fort Sam Houston ISD since June 2023. Prior to this role, Thomas taught High School Social Studies at San Antonio ISD for a brief period and served as an AP Government and AP Economics Instructor at Thomas Jefferson High School from September 2021 to June 2023. Thomas has a substantial background in the U.S. Army, having worked as an Army Exercise Officer for over 12 years, where responsibilities included developing military training events and objectives. Additionally, Thomas held roles in medical recruiting, including Director of the Houston Medical Recruiting Company. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Management with a focus on Homeland Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Canisius University, along with Texas Teacher Certification for grades 7-12 in Social Studies obtained from Education Service Center Region 20.
