Leona Murray

Leona Murray has gained a diverse range of work experience in several organizations. In 2019, they worked as a Lifeguard at the American Red Cross and also served as a Circulation Assistant at Denison University Library, where they organized book requests, provided customer service, and managed the circulation desk. In 2020, they participated in the Fast Track to Finance program at Forte Foundation. In 2021, Leona worked as an Intermediate Macroeconomics Teacher Assistant at Denison University and as a Financial Wellness Intern at Denison Financial Wellness, where they created a program to help students with financial concepts and built relationships with students to address their financial concerns. Leona also interned for the Investment and Alumni Platform at 360 One Firm. In 2022, Leona joined Morningstar as a Business Analyst and Oaktree Capital Management as part of the Oaktree Future Leaders Program. Additionally, they worked as a Client Services Assistant at Raymond James, gaining exposure to various aspects of the company's operations, sales, marketing, and portfolio management functions.

Leona Murray began their education at Castlehead Highschool in Scotland, UK, from 2012 to 2019. During their time there, they completed higher level courses in Mathematics, Business Management, Physics, English, Biology, and Physical Education. In 2019, Leona enrolled at Denison University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Leona'seducation at Denison University lasted from 2019 to 2023. In addition to their formal education, Leona has obtained several certifications, including "Intro to Crypto" from Denison Edge in April 2022, "The Five-step Guide to Mastering Your Money" from LinkedIn in January 2022, and "First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor" from the American Red Cross in November 2021. Leona also holds certifications in various subjects such as technology, finance, accounting, and personal branding, which were acquired from LinkedIn and Denison University. Notably, Leona received the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award and The Diana Award in June 2019, recognizing their outstanding achievements.
