Catalin Plescan

Catalin Plescan has a diverse work experience in the field of .NET development. Catalin started their career in 2010 at Vivendi, where they developed websites for mobile and desktop using ASP.NET MVC3 and jQuery. Catalin also worked on applications that utilized Google Maps to promote attractions in specific geographic areas.

In 2013, they joined CSVision and contributed to the development of a bike-sharing web application using ASP.NET MVC4. Catalin also worked on enhancing a financial web application.

From 2013 to 2018, Catalin worked at DBSgroep as a .NET Web Developer. As part of their role, they maintained and improved a life insurance web application using ASP.NET Web Forms. Catalin also collaborated with third-party secured servers to interact with web services.

In 2018, they joined Pentalog as a .Net Back-End Developer. Here, they developed API functionalities and exposed end-points for the front-end team. Catalin was responsible for maintaining and enhancing the application structure and functionalities. Catalin also created NuGet packages for Model layout, which were implemented in related applications.

In 2021, they moved to BizFrame and worked as a .NET Web Developer. Catalin was responsible for maintaining and improving a recruitment web application using ASP.NET MVC. Catalin also adapted custom logic for DevExpress components.

Catalin's most recent work experience is at Fortech, where they currently hold the role of a .NET Back-End Developer.

Catalin Plescan has a strong educational background in the field of technology and pedagogy. Catalin obtained a Master's degree in Information Technology from Universitatea Transilvania din Brașov, graduating in 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Informatics from the same university, graduating in 2008. During the same period, they also pursued a degree in Pedagogy, further enhancing their knowledge in teaching methodologies and educational practices. In 2005, Catalin Plescan began their higher education journey at Universitatea Transilvania din Brașov. Before entering university, they completed their secondary education at Constantin Brâncoveanu High School in Brasov, specializing in mathematics.
