Jared Moore

Senior Controls Engineer at Fortem Technologies

Jared Moore has been working in the engineering field since 2013. Jared began their career as a Research Assistant at Brigham Young University, where they developed a theorem for analyzing the ability of a team of UAVs to track a determinate number of vehicles on a given road network and worked on various estimation, tracking, and control algorithms for autonomous vehicles. Jared then moved to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as a Software Engineer, where they managed a SCADA dealing with over 4 million data points a day from 44 different groundwater and vapor treatment facilities, and developed both front and backends for web applications to process and view data from the facilities. In 2017, they returned to Brigham Young University as a Research Assistant, where they performed workload analysis for UAS teams in order to identify stress conditions for Manager, payload operator, and pilot with the goal of finding points of autonomy that would provide the greatest relief to the human element in the system. Jared also designed and built a modeling language to decrease development time, and served as a Teaching Assistant. In 2020, they began their current role as a Senior Controls Engineer at Fortem Technologies.

Jared Moore graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering in 2014. Jared then returned to Brigham Young University and graduated with a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2019.
