Doron Yaacoby has a diverse work experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Doron started their career at IDF in 2004 as a Software Developer, working on ASP.NET GIS applications. Doron then progressed to become a Team Lead, responsible for developing web-based GIS applications using ASP.NET, C#, Oracle, and ESRI products. In 2009, they became a Software Architect, contributing to the development of .NET infrastructure.

In 2010, Doron joined Ginger Software as a Senior Backend & NLP Developer, where they played a key role in developing the world's best contextual grammar and spelling checker. Doron also designed and developed Ginger's sentence rephrase technology, utilizing C#, Elastic Search, and a custom Lucene Java service. Doron later became the Backend & NLP Team Lead, leading a team of developers and analysts using Kanban and Agile practices.

Since 2016, Doron has been working at Forter, starting as a Senior Software Engineer and progressing to the role of Engineering Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Software Engineer, demonstrating their expertise and leadership in the field.
