Eric S.

Eric S. has worked in the IT industry for over 20 years. Eric began their career in 1998 as a Contractor at Bell Labs Lucent Technologies, where they worked on a 6-month project to develop a back-end networking infrastructure for a public-access wireless Internet service. In 1999, they became the Director of I.T. at Outweb, Inc., where they designed and maintained the entire IS infrastructure. In 2002, they were the Director of Technology Consulting at EDI, Ltd., where they coordinated business development planning and activities. In 2007, Eric took on the role of Director of Critical Systems at McBride Electric, where they managed project teams and prepared RFPs and RFIs. In 2008, they became the I.T. Director at GreenSky Business Credit, where they planned and managed updates to the entire infrastructure. In 2010, they were the IT Manager, Infrastructure Improvement at Tennessee Valley Authority, where they were responsible for migrating disparate small data centers into fewer, larger, centralized data centers. In 2015, they became the Director of Information Technology at Astral Brands, where they designed and executed a migration of legacy email and Active Directory to Office 365 and Azure AD. In 2018, they were the Director Of Information Technology at OTR Capital, where they managed a project for conversion of the entire company from a legacy phone system to a cloud-based VoIP provider. Currently, Eric is the Director of Technical Services Delivery at FortifyData.

Eric S. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 1990 and 1994. Eric also holds several certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from the INTERNATIONAL INFORMATION SYSTEM SECURITY CERTIFICATION CONSORTIUM in 2008, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) from Cisco in 2005, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Security (MCSE) from Microsoft in 2005, and CCNP from Cisco.
