Felix De La Torre, Jr. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple positions and industries. Felix started their career as a Systems Engineer/IT Supervisor at The TPA/Benesight from August 1997 to September 2000. Felix then worked as a Network Engineer at ClearTrack Information Network from September 2000 to February 2002. Following this, Felix joined the U.S. Probation Office for the District of Columbia (U.S. Courts) as a Systems/Software Engineer in May 2002, where they stayed until August 2015. During this time, they gained extensive experience in engineering and software projects. In 2015, Felix joined Fortinet, where they held two roles simultaneously. Felix served as a Senior Solutions Engineer, leading Fortinet's Federal Healthcare Engineering team and co-leading engineering engagements with several large Federal ITS integrators. Additionally, they worked as a Lead Security Architect, Sales at Fortinet Federal Inc. Felix'sprimary responsibilities included pre- and post-sales engineering projects for prospects and existing clients. Amidst their professional endeavors, Felix also played a crucial role as a Director/Treasurer at Lee's Hill Community Association, where they managed a community with over 2000 homes. Felix supervised property management, advised on capital improvement projects, and implemented the board's paperless document management plan.

Felix De La Torre, Jr. holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Eastern Connecticut State University, which they obtained from 1991 to 1994. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of Connecticut from 1988 to 1989. In addition to their academic qualifications, Felix has obtained several certifications, including NSE-7 in Network Security Architect (Advanced Threat Protection) and Enterprise Network Security, NSE-5 in Network Security Analyst, NSE-4 in Network Security Professional, and the Microsoft Certified Professional certification.
