Hamid K

Hamid K is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software testing and quality assurance. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer in Test at Fortinet since April 2023 and as a Sessional Faculty at University Canada West since July 2024, Hamid has previously held significant roles at Dropbox, Fortinet, PSAudio, and Talos Digital, where responsibilities included test automation, test planning, and bug reporting. Notably, Hamid contributed to modernizing the Cold Regions Hydrological Model as part of a larger research initiative while working as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Saskatchewan. With a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from PNU, Hamid has a solid educational foundation supporting a successful career in software engineering.
