Mark Caldwell

Mark Caldwell is an accomplished software development professional currently serving as Director of Software Development at Fortinet since August 2024. With extensive experience spanning several prominent companies, Mark held the position of Lead Software Engineer at both Next DLP and Ava Security, where a focus on innovative security solutions was paramount. Prior roles include leadership at Geneity Limited, where Mark managed a team to develop optimized algorithms for sports betting, as well as significant contributions to Cisco Systems in developing advanced video conferencing systems. Mark also founded CaldSoft, a software development company, and gained early experience through placements at Intelligenti and Nokia. Mark holds an MEng First Class Honours degree in Computer Science from the University of Bristol.
