Yuanda Wang

Yuanda Wang is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Fortinet since October 2024, Yuanda previously held the same title at Alibaba Group, where the focus was on developing the switch for Alibaba Cloud. Earlier roles include software engineering positions at TigerGraph, where work involved the compilation team, and Zoomdojo, where Yuanda developed web modules and coding with Selenium in Python. Additionally, Yuanda contributed to research on enhancing security in seL4 as a Research Assistant at the University of South Florida and developed network file systems at the Tsinghua University-Intel Joint Research Institute. Yuanda holds a Ph.D. in Networks from the University of Florida, along with master’s degrees in Computer Science from New York University and Computer Software Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Optics/Optical Sciences from Tianjin University.
