Jeferson Valadares has a diverse and extensive work experience in the gaming industry. Jeferson held the role of VP of Games at Fortis Games starting in November 2021. Jeferson also served as the President of the Associação de Produtores de Videojogos Portugueses in 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Advisor at Aptoide from August 2018 onwards, and as a Member of the Board of Directors at Rovio Entertainment Corporation from April 2019 to April 2022. Jeferson was a Board Member at Oktagon Games from 2011 to December 2021. Additionally, they were the Co-founder and CEO of Doppio Games from April 2018 to November 2021. Jeferson served as an Advisor at Replay from July 2019 to June 2020. Jeferson held senior leadership positions at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. as the GM/VP of Product Development from December 2014 to February 2018, as well as at Electronic Arts as the Studio GM from January 2012 to November 2014. At Bioware, Jeferson worked as an Executive Producer from January 2012 to March 2013.

Jeferson Valadares has a strong educational background in Computer Science. Jeferson obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, where they studied from 1994 to 1999. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from the same institution, completing their studies from 2000 to 2002.
