Simon Irvine

Simon Irvine has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Simon is currently working at Fortitude Re as the VP TPA Governance. Prior to this, they worked at MetLife where they held several positions including Head of Technical Operations Transformation for Mid-Markets, Chief of Staff - Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), and AVP Operations, Asia Pacific Region. At Sun Life Financial, Simon served as AVP Strategic Initiatives, AVP & Head of Asia Off-shore Migration, Head of Regional Operations and Operational Efficiency, and Head of Asia PMO. Earlier in their career, they worked at Electronic Data Systems as an Off-shore delivery manager.

Simon Irvine completed their MBA in Marketing and Finance from The Open University, where they attended from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they pursued a BEng in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the University of Portsmouth, from 1993 to 1997. Simon also obtained the Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI) certification from LOMA in January 2016. In addition, they hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in January 2008. Recently, Simon obtained certifications in Operations Management: Digital Strategy from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, and a Certificate in Managing Operations from Cornell University, both in April 2021.
