Nathan Hemmer

Nathan Hemmer serves as the Council Chair for Engineering Research & Development at Manufacturers Alliance since January 2022 and holds the position of Sr. Corporate Director for Procurement Engineering & Supply Base Development at Fortive since July 2016. Hemmer's extensive experience includes leadership roles in global product development and engineering, with a focus on continuous improvement and Lean processes across various functional areas. As the owner and winemaker at Hemmer Vineyards, Hemmer oversees a 19-acre estate in Oregon's Dundee Hills, specializing in premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Hemmer is a licensed professional engineer in Oregon and has previously held significant engineering leadership positions at Danaher Corp, Pelton & Crane, Decrane Aircraft Seating Company, and Envirovac Inc. Hemmer earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Bradley University and an MBA from Northern Illinois University.
