Amanda Ortega

Amanda Ortega currently serves as the Chief Compliance Officer for North America at Flutterwave, a position held since December 2023. Prior to this role, Amanda was the Chief of Regulatory Affairs at Fortress Trust Company from January 2022 to December 2023 and held the same title at Prime Trust from August 2019 to November 2021. Amanda's earlier experience includes significant roles within the State of Wyoming, serving as Deputy Banking Commissioner and Chief Bank Examiner from December 2007 to August 2019, and as Customer Service Manager at First Interstate Bank from January 2001 to December 2007. Amanda earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Wyoming between 2000 and 2005 and attended the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado from 2013 to 2014.
