Edgar Delgado

Edgar Delgado, P. Eng, CAP, CFSE is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in automation and process functional safety consultancy. Currently serving as Director and Principal Engineer at Diversified Process Solutions Inc. since August 2010, Edgar also holds the position of Automation/Functional Safety Department Manager at Fortress Engineering Ltd. since March 2018. Previously, significant roles at Emerson Process Management and Sanjel Corporation involved leadership in safety instrumented systems and project management for instrumentation and controls. Edgar possesses a diverse educational background with a B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering and numerous certifications in functional safety and risk management, including PHA/HAZOP facilitation. Expertise covers a wide range of areas within process safety life cycle, system design, and automation technology implementation.
