Jess Walpole

Jess Walpole has a strong background in information technology and governance. Jess currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Fortress SRM. Previously, Jess held various leadership roles at Lincoln Electric, including Vice President of IT for the Americas and International Welding, Vice President of Global Information Security and IT Operations, and Global Director of Systems Development. At Lincoln Electric, they focused on implementing IT solutions and driving business strategies. Prior to that, Jess worked at Diebold, where they held positions such as Vice President of IT Governance and Risk, Director of Enterprise Governance & Compliance, Manager of Security Compliance and Governance, and IT Controller. Throughout their career, they have emphasized risk management, regulatory compliance, and aligning technology with business objectives.

Jess Walpole attended Malone University from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business Administration. In addition to their degree, Jess obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2008, they became a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA. In 2009, Jess obtained the certification in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT). Finally, in 2010, they obtained the GIAC Legal Issues in Information Technology & Security (GLEG) certification from SANS.
