Helena Nygren has extensive experience in brand management, marketing, and communications. Helena currently works at Fortum as the Head of Marketing Studio, overseeing a Nordic team responsible for creating and producing marketing material. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Brand, Marketing, and Customer Communication at Fortum, focusing on increasing brand awareness and managing communications with customers. Before joining Fortum, Helena worked at Ericsson in various roles, including Brand Activation Manager and External Marketing Communications Specialist. Helena has a proven track record of successfully launching new products and campaigns, as well as implementing digital marketing strategies.
Helena Nygren completed their education as follows: Helena earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Ergonomics from Luleå University of Technology from 1993 to 1998. Helena also pursued further education in the same field at Louisiana State University in 1998. In addition, they attended high school at Västermalms skola from 1989 to 1992, with a focus on technical, building, and construction studies. Furthermore, in 2005-2006, Helena studied Communication and Media at Umeå University. Helena has also obtained additional certifications, including AI i praktiken – för marknadsförare from Bonnier Academy in 2023 and Inbound Certification from HubSpot in April 2016.
