Jaakko Niemi

Jaakko Niemi has extensive experience in human resources and business management, currently serving as a Senior Business People (HR) Partner for Wind & Solar and Power-to-X at Fortum since October 2013. Over the years, Jaakko has held various roles at Fortum, including Senior Business People Partner for Business Technology, Global Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Manager, Global C&B Analyst, People Services Expert, and Resource Coordinator, where responsibilities spanned from employee performance management to workforce analytics. Additionally, Jaakko contributed as Chief People & Culture Officer at Plugsurfing and served as a Service Coordinator at StaffPoint Oy. Currently, Jaakko is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Aalto University, having previously studied Human Resource Management for Global Business.
