Nebahat Albayrak

Nebahat Albayrak currently serves as EVP Sustainability and Corporate Relations at Fortum and holds the position of Non Executive Director at NKT, where Albayrak chairs the ESG Committee. Albayrak has been a Board Member and Vice Chair at Fonds 21 since 2015 and served on the Supervisory Board of N.V. Nederlandse Spoorwegen from June 2019 to June 2023. Previous roles include Non Executive Board Member at Unilever, Vice President of External Relations for Shell's Global Integrated Gas and New Energies businesses, and Member of Parliament for the Dutch Labor Party, where Albayrak chaired the Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee. Additionally, Albayrak served as Secretary of State for Justice in the Dutch government from 2007 to 2010, overseeing asylum and migration policies.
