Veronica Hagborg

Veronica Hagborg has extensive experience in strategic HR and employee communications. Veronica currently holds the position of VP People & Internal Communications at Fortum, where they focus on engagement, M&A, strategic workforce, and the renewal of the operating model. Prior to this, Veronica held leadership roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Beckers Group, Polygon Group, and Falck, where they developed HR strategies, drove change management processes, and led HR teams. Veronica also has experience in executive search and business development at Experis and worked in real estate and learning and development at Skeppsholmen Sotheby's International Realty and SAS - Scandinavian Airlines, respectively.

Veronica Hagborg's education history includes attending INSEAD for executive education in General Management in 2018. Veronica also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and International Relations & Affairs from Stockholm University. Additionally, they studied Organization & Management at Mid Sweden University until 2012. In 2004, they obtained a Real Estate degree from the University of Gävle. Prior to that, in 1994, they studied International Relations and Affairs at Uppsala University. In 1992, they completed an Advanced Spanish program at La Escuela Oficial de Idiomas in Madrid. Veronica also participated in the Mentorship Programme at Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education in 2018.
