Edson C. Covic

Edson C. Covic serves as the Global Corporate Director of HSE at Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. since October 2021, focusing on developing and implementing corporate health, safety, and environment management systems. Previously, Edson held various roles at AngloGold Ashanti from October 2015 to September 2021, including Director of HSSE Latam and Senior Manager of Safety, Occupational Health, and Management Systems, where responsibilities included overseeing safety and health across multiple Brazilian operations and implementing strategic improvements. Prior experience includes serving as Corporate Safety and Occupational Health Manager at Anglo American and positions at DuPont, where Edson contributed to safety management system implementations and project management. Edson holds an MBA in Environmental Management and multiple engineering degrees, including a focus on Safety Engineering.
