Steve Puto

Steve Puto has extensive experience in logistics and transportation management. Steve is currently the Director of Logistics Procurement at Fortune Brands Innovations, a role they have held since July 2021. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2021, Steve served as the Global Transportation Manager at GE Lighting. Steve also worked as the Terminal Manager in Pittsburgh at YRC Freight from 2017 to 2018.

Beginning in 2014, Steve worked at Diebold Nixdorf as a Logistics Solutions Engineer, responsible for implementing process improvement and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to achieve annual savings in global transportation and warehouse spend. Steve also introduced productivity metrics and achieved reductions in warehouse wage and overtime.

In 2011, Steve was the Director of Distribution at Foundations Worldwide, overseeing day-to-day operations of four warehouse locations and implementing performance measurements to improve efficiency and gauge operations performance.

Prior to that, Steve held various positions at YRC Freight, including Operations Performance Manager, Linehaul Operations Manager, Regional Service Manager, Service Team Manager, Service Coordinator-Relay, Quality Controller-Dock, Service Center Dispatcher, and Dock Supervisor. These positions involved overseeing operations, managing teams, implementing improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Overall, Steve Puto has a strong background in logistics, transportation, and operations management, with a focus on process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency optimization.

Steve Puto attended Penn State University from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing with a minor in Economics. Steve also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Kent State University.
