Shilpa P. Saxena MD

Shilpa P. Saxena MD has extensive work experience in the medical field. Shilpa P. currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer & Physician at Forum Health LLC since July 2019. Prior to this, they founded and served as the President of SevaMed Institute starting from October 2004. From September 2013 to July 2015, they held the position of Chief of Medicine at n1Health. Additionally, in February 2010, they founded the Center for Living Wellness, a community-based facility offering fitness, yoga, community health education, and healthy cooking classes. In 2010, Shilpa embarked on a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine. This one-year program provided their with specialized knowledge and skills in combining conventional medicine with alternative approaches to healthcare.

Shilpa further enhanced their expertise by becoming a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner from the Institute for Functional Medicine in 2013. This certification allowed their to practice functional medicine, which focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of diseases.

In addition to their formal education, Shilpa has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Shilpa P. became Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine in 2001. Shilpa also attained certifications in specialties such as Low Risk Obstetrics from St. Vincent Medical Center in 2001 and as a Certified Physician for the Therapeutic Lifestyle Change Program from Metagenics, First Line Therapy in 2006.
