Prakash Adakane

Prakash Adakane is an experienced automotive professional with a strong background in program and project management. Currently serving as Deputy Director of Global R&D Power at Faurecia since November 2020, Prakash is responsible for the business unit's P&L and budget, as well as developing the vision and strategy for new business development. Previously, roles included Head of Program Management at Faurecia for the Global R&D Power business unit, Global Program Manager for Nissan programs at Faurecia Japan K.K., and Program Manager for FORD at Faurecia. Prakash's earlier career includes key positions at Mahindra and Mahindra Limited, where responsibilities spanned program management for engine applications and leadership in vehicle engineering projects. Prakash holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Amravati University and a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Govt. Polytechnic College.
