Corey Lawrence has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Corey started their career as a Financial Representative at New York Life Insurance Company in 2005, followed by a role as a Retirement Consultant at Fidelity Investments from 2007 to 2010. Corey then transitioned into the technology industry and worked as an Implementation Engineer at Mercury Z from January 2011 to July 2011. Corey also had a brief stint as a Contractor in Network Administration and Engineering at Robert Half Technology from July 2011 to September 2011.
In November 2011, Corey joined Cisco as a TAC Security Engineer, specializing in Firewall/Firepower. Corey held this position until May 2017. Subsequently, they assumed the role of a Technical Account Manager for Cisco Umbrella, where they partnered closely with various departments to ensure the resolution of customer and partner technical challenges. Corey provided training, consulting services, and best practices to strategic customers, partners, and account managers during their tenure at Cisco.
In April 2023, Corey became a Technical Account Manager at Forward Networks, Inc. In this role, Corey is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, understanding customer business goals, and proactively identifying and resolving challenges for customers.
Corey Lawrence holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Computer Information Systems from North Carolina Central University. Additionally, Corey Lawrence has obtained certifications in Agile Fundamentals from Cisco in July 2022, and ITILv3 Foundations from ITIL Certified in June 2014.
